Acupressure

Treatments from sport recovery to anxiety relief.

Acupressure is a manual technique using various pressure onto key points (trigger points) to relief pain or muscle tension and relax muscles & fascia. The acupressure technique is used on trigger points within muscles and soft tissues. A trigger point is a neuromuscular point where a muscle and a nerve meet together and cause irritation or pain.

I mix acupressure with deep tissue massage that treats musculo-skeletal pain, release tightness, encourages deep relaxation, regenerates the soft tissue. Stimulation of acupressure points also improves mobility, prevents injuries or helps with faster recovery after the injury.

Cupping

Powerful relief from pain using silicone cups.

The cup is attached to the skin and creates suction, which helps to relax the soft tissue of affected area and removes toxins from the body.

Cupping is great for muscle and joint pain, cramps, swelling, rheumatism, reduces fascia tension, helps with colds or flu, digestive and respiratory problems, removes toxins from the body, helps fight cellulite, regenerates the skin and more.

WARNING:
Please be aware
that cupping leaves a bruise mark on the skin, that is changing in colour and it will dissapear within 7-10 days. This is very normal for this technique.

Massage for kids

New experience for your kid (and yourself too)

Massage for kids is soft, gentle and accomodated to the current development and condition of the child. It helps to treat body issues coming from sports, bad posture or a fast growth. It removes physical and psychological blockages, improves the sleep, helps to manage kid's hyperactivity and focus, calms them down.

Suitable for children 6+ . I recommend parents to attend the massage together with your child as children are (usually) more comfortable with their parents in the room.

What to expect …

…BEFORE
the massage

Last meal should be eaten 2h before the massage (to be able to digest) and you shouldn’t come hungry either. Drink enough of water on the day of massage (before and after), avoid alcohol or other substances.

⚠️ Check below and in FAQ when to AVOID massage.

…DURING
the massage

Communication is essential. I will listen to your symptoms and I will be looking for the root of your problem. I will ask you some details about your pain, your health, such as your sleep, digestion, stress, so don't be surprised :) it is part of the treatment.

During the massage you will probably feel tense areas, but overall the massage should be always pleasant for you.

…AFTER
the
massage

Some clients feel enrgized while some feel tired or sleepy and both is ok. Protect the massaged areas with warm clothes and stay away from wind, and cold. Take it easy for the rest of the day and don’t do heavy activities (gym, big clean up, gardening etc.).

Drink plenty of water that helps to regenerate your muscles and avoid alcohol or other substances that toxifies your body.

Massaged areas might be sensitive day after, and that is normal, because muscles are recovering. If for any reason the pain doesn't go away, please contact me.
